EJ Egghart, MBA, CPA
Founder of Egghart Consulting, a unique and independent provider of integrated solutions exclusively for Indian Tribes and Casinos. Egghart Consulting provides SAAS (Software as a service) coupled with consulting serivces such as co-sourcing of internal audits and technology-process driven consulting services. This is a fruition of EJ’s beliefs that businesses can be improved by aligning processes with technology and people. As a trusted advisor, a CPA and an educator, EJ has worked with Indian Casinos and Tribes providing accounting and consulting services with integrity, open and honest communication, and customer satisfaction for over twenty years.
EJ has had an extensive and varied professional career that has primarily focused on audit and consulting services for Tribal governments, enterprises and casinos, as well as a variety of commercial clients. Her work has included financial and compliance audits of casinos, reviews of internal control systems, Title 31 implementations, and the performance of various consulting services such as budget analysis and internal audit. She started her CPA profession in a national firm and won the bronze medal for her CPA exam in Nevada. Later she founded and managed the CPA firm of Egghart & Associates, primarily auditing Indian Casinos and Tribes until she started Egghart Consulting in 2011.
EJ is a licensed CPA in the state of Nevada and California. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has served on several task force committees for the California Gaming Regulators Association, CNIGA, and the Nevada Society of CPAs.

Steve Simon, Gaming Specialist
With nearly 32 years experience in commercial and Native American Gaming as a Gaming Regulatory Audit Agent, Resort/Casino Controller, Resort/Casino General Manager and Consultant, Steve Simon has extensive hands-on experience in all areas of casino and resort development and operations. He has specialized in righting both financially and culturally challenged resort/casinos and casinos.
Steve is generally regarded as an expert in slot operations with extensive experience in casino floor layout, configuration, and operations. As a highly successful general manager, Steve has proven experience in accounting and finance, casino operations management, internal and external marketing, and a unique approach to effective customer service.
In his previous role as Director of Casino Operations, at the Santa Ana Star Casino, Steve has helped increase revenues and net income at times by more than 100% in the last seven years.
He has been a regular presenter at regional gaming shows discussing issues related to casino management, operations and customer service. Steve’s presentation style is engaging and very informative. Steve’s extensive experiences in the gaming industry allow him to explain complex concepts and create understanding through real life examples and illustrations. He has also authored many well received articles in trade magazines.

Martin Yi has been working at the forefront of technology for the past decade. From his background in document management at Xerox, working with mechanical engineers from fortune 200 companies on R&D, to lecturing future minds at Harvey Mudd, technology has always been close to his heart. Though his eyes are always fixated on future tech, his deep experience in technology implementation fixes his feet firmly grounded in executables that make sense for the organization.
