EJ Egghart, MBA, CPA
EJ Egghart received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Utah in 1987 after obtaining degrees in counseling and mass communications. She qualified as a Nevada CPA in the Reno office of a National CPA firm after being awarded the bronze medal in the 1988 CPA exam. She also worked for a large regional CPA firm in Nevada. In 1996, she founded the firm of Egghart & Associates, one of the largest CPA firms specializing in Indian Gaming Audits. In 2008, she founded Egghart Professional Education Services (EPES), an independent training organization to provide quality training seminars specific to the Indian Country.
EJ has had an extensive and varied professional career that has primarily focused on audit and audit related services including state and Tribal governments and a wide range of commercial clients. EJ has been serving Native American and Nevada gaming clients nationwide for the last fifteen years. Her work has included financial and compliance audits of casinos, review of internal control systems, Title 31 implementation and employee training, and the performance of various consulting services such as budget analysis and internal audit.
She is a frequent speaker for Indian Gaming Conferences, G2E, various States Gaming Regulators Association meetings. She has also published articles on Indian gaming issues.
EJ is a licensed CPA in the state of Nevada and California. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has served on several task force committees for California Gaming Regulators Association, CNIGA, the Nevada Society of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accountants.
