Ryan Burns, CPA
Working as an auditor and consultant exclusively to Tribes nationwide, Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his teaching in seminars. His experience includes audits of: tribally sponsored enterprises including casinos, hotels, golf courses, RV parks, retail outlets, cigarette/sales/fuel tax collection operations, convenience stores, utility and health care divisions, the placement of public and private taxable and tax-exempt debt instruments, fraud examinations, and financial reporting under GASB 34.
Ryan has also taught governmental accounting and auditing, tribal-state gaming compact accounting issues, net win accounting, and audit issues specific to tribal governments.
